For the South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s last day, more than a dozen chefs were in attendance, each with their own special preparation technique that sure brought pig roasting to a whole new level. Hosted by Cooking Channel’s Debi Mazar & Gabriele Corcos from the hit show Extra Virgin, the pig slayers spent the entire day prepping seasonings and rubs that pair well with wines for this walk-around tasting of pork flavors from all over the world. Cooks used the Duroc & Hampshire breeds of pigs, which are all natural, farm-raised and known for being super tender. The pit masters were tasked with bringing out well glazed, perfectly done whole roasted pigs served with various side dishes and desserts created by the Biltmore Hotel. Attendees enjoyed smooth cigars from Padron and La Flor Dominicana as they danced to live music from The Chirino Sisters! 1st place in this year’s Swine & Wine pig roast competition went to Chef Ingrid Hoffman. Congrats Ingrid!

In attendance the unannounced new cast of Bravo TV’s Miami Housewives
