Jeffrey's
fascination with photography is fed by the joy of simply "seeing". The
play of light on a scene, the juxtaposition of things and textures are
elements of his images. Predominately using available natural light, his
"moments" can rarely be duplicated. Jeffrey's process involves the
silver gelatin prints done on Multigrade Fiber Base paper which have
been archivally processed in a "wet" darkroom. The tones of these prints
are neutral. This medium is considered to be perhaps the most archival
photographic process, giving the images a three dimensional feeling.
Jeffrey is a practicing dentist and his interest in fine art photography
has spanned forty years. His photos have been included in over fifty
exhibitions in both public and private collections. Meet Jeffery at the
Opening Reception, Wednesday, April 10th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. free to
the public.
