2012 Halloween Events in Miami

 

Miami offers plenty of frightening Halloween fun during the whole month of October. Find out what events are happening on and around Halloween in Miami, for both kids and adults.

HALLOWEEN FUN FOR KIDS:
 
House of Horror Amusement Park
The largest haunted house in South Florida also features carnival rides, kiddie rides, carnival acts, and musical performances.
Little Farm Pumpkin Patch
Visit Little Farm in Homestead for a gorgeous pumpkin patch, pony rides, a petting farm, scarecrow kits and harvest decorations. Runs from early October through Halloween night.
Spooky Event at Gold Coast Railroad Museum
Trick-or-treating, train rides, and more on these special evenings at the train museum.
Not So Scary Halloween
Come to Miami Children's Museum for some family fun. This event will feature a haunted house, trick or treating, crazed crafts and food.
Monster Splash Nighttime Bash at Miami Seaquarium
Several nights of Halloween themed animal shows, haunted houses, roaming skeletons, fireworks and more. Candy stations and other cool surprises will be set up around the park for trick-or-treaters in costume. Runs during the last days of October.
Howl-o-Ween at Pinecrest Gardens
A special Halloween for pets and their families, at Pinecrest Gardens. Includes a pet fair, flashlight tour, and family movie.
Halloween Spooktacular at Jungle Island
From trick-or-treating through the Jungle to themed animal shows, kids of all ages will enjoy a family friendly, fun-filled time. Everyone can enter the annual costume contest.
Howl-o-Ween at Fairchild
A special Halloween outing just for dogs (and their fans), at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
Family Halloween Party at Cocowalk
Trick-or-treating, costume contests, live entertainment and more at the CocoWalk Family Halloween Party.
Halloween on the Mile
Downtown Coral Gables invites kids of all ages to enjoy safe Halloween festivities. There will be scary story telling, safe trick-or-treating along Miracle Mile and adjacent streets, live entertainment, Halloween-themed photo booth and kiddie and doggie costume contests.

Monster Masquarade at Zoo Miami
Costumed adult monsters ages 21 and over are invited to go where the wild things are - at Zoo Miami. Party in the dark while enjoying premium cocktails at the open bars, savory treats, music, dancing, and entry into Dr. Wilde’s Creepy House.
Halloween Spookover
Stay overnight at Deering Estate for a spooky Nite Hike of the Tropical Hammock, ghost stories and performances, and join the League of Paranormal Investigators on a paranormal investigation of the houses and grounds.
Halloween Sundowner at Vizcaya
Celebrate this annual Halloween Sundowner at Vizcaya, a fundraiser to benefit Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Buy tickets early, as they may sell out.
